This actually works surprisingly well. There are a couple of limitations: you can't "pinch" google maps to zoom in/out; also, I can't figure out how to get the sound into my car's audio. But other than that it works well and adds a display to a car that did not have one. One other comment: make sure you understand the dimensions of this display. Yes it is 10" wide but really only a couple inches tall. It is exactly the size advertised but somehow I got the idea it would be larger.

this thing is really cool...sits right in the dash in front of me and displays the same screen as my phone...much larger...

Over the years, I’ve owned many CarPlay compatible devices and this is the best so far. Easy to set up (in fact bought a second one for my non-techie father for his phone/truck)… the only thing I wish, which may even be my fault, is there was an easier way to boost the audio output from the device so that I didn’t have to crank my stereo so high to hear phone calls. Music and everything works fine though.
